Most of our iOS apps come in a free-to-try version and a School Edition. The School Edition gives access to all levels for up to 10 learners. The free-to-try version has four free levels for one learner. In-app purchases are available.​

Inference Clues helps build strong reading comprehension skills in a fun, game-like environment.

As well as generating inferences, players identify the clue words that lead to an inference — a vital comprehension skill and part of the Common Core standards.

Identifying the main idea is a key part of reading comprehension.

‘Main Idea – Sentences’ develops the skill of knowing what a sentence is about. This skill must be firmly established before a child can determine what a paragraph or page is about.

The focus of ‘Main Idea – Short Texts’ is teaching kids how to identify the main idea of a paragraph. The skill is built incrementally using visual guides.

‘Fact or Opinion’ builds an important comprehension skill in a fun, game-like environment. All kids need to know how to interpret what they read — is it a fact, or is it someone’s opinion?This skill is especially important as they reach the age of accessing information from the internet.

This vital skill is built incrementally. Early levels focus on thinking about how to prove and fact/opinion and also how to identify the clue words that are indicative of a fact or opinion. Later levels include timers to ensure fluency.

Reading Fluency Builder quickly develops your child’s reading speed to meet grade level expectations. Reading fluency is a key prerequisite if your child is struggling with reading comprehension.

Reading Fluency Builder provides a fun game-like environment that motivates even hesitant learners. Learners start at a late Grade 1 speed and can use the app to build up fluency to a mid-Grade 5 level.
